Me...NO BUENO!

Let me just say that I have spent the last 24 hours wishing I was dead! I am telling ya I have been the most sick EVER!!!
It all started when my little one Jaxon started to get sick with vomiting and some other stuff I wont mention. So I took him to the doctor yesterday and we are still waiting for his test results to come in (the doc is thinking it is a bacterial infection). After picking up his prescriptions and laying him down for a nap I started to not feel right. I was achy, had a weird pain in my stomach and felt a little nauseous. I just played it off that I was up late and didn't really eat much earlier. So around 4 I felt like I did when I was pregnant, that cold sweat and nausea....well I had to make a run to the bathroom. Let me just say me and that bathroom became very good friends, I was in and out of that thing every 5-10 minutes for about 3 hours! can you say HOLY SICK BATMAN! But here I am writing this blog because I have all my senses again and can actually see straight. Luckily it was only one of those 24 hour bugs.
It's so funny being sick because it makes me not want to get pregnant again! I think I will wait awhile.

Favorite things Wednesday {JEWELERY}

I decide I am going to start sharing some of my favorite things every Wednesday so you guys can get to know me and my style a little bit better. Today I decided I would share with you some of my favorite pieces of jewelry. I don't own a lot of nice jewelery but want to share the jewelry I wear all the time!

I love chunky pearls, well I just love pearls. I got this at Rue 21

This ring is worn everyday, it is my wedding gift from my husband from Tiffany's and I adore it.

I have to say I love hand stamped jewelry and this I got from The Vintage Pearl  the cutest stuff ever!

And last but certainly not least, my wedding ring. My favorite piece of jewelry! Me and my husband created together.

Sweet Tooth Monday!

For the past couple of days all I have been wanting is CHOCOLATE! I know a lot of us go through these days and so here is a yummy solution to those cravings!

Chocolate Chip Cake

1 3/4 C. boiling water

1 C. oats

1/2 C. butter

1 C. brown sugar

1 C. sugar

3 eggs

1 3/4 C. flour

1 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 Tb. cocoa

1 Pkg. (12 oz) chocolate chips

Mix boiling water, oats and butter in pot. Let sit for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, in large bowl mix brown sugar, granulated sugar and eggs. Sit aside. In medium sized bowl mix flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa. Add oat mixture to sugar mixture. Stir well. Add flour mixture in small amounts stir well. Add 1/2 chocolate chips. Pour into greased 13x9 cake pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes. Let cool completely, and enjoy!

Can't Sleep!

It's 11, 12, 1, and then 2 in the morning and I still can't sleep most nights. I don't know if my brain is on a different schedule than my body but it's gotta stop! I am dragging in the mornings and mama's no fun in the mornings (as Jaxon would think).

Anyone else have this problemo? 

Anyways just up and going over so many ideas in my head (maybe this is the problem) of starting my very own little business! I get so excited thinking about it and can't wait to start. My sweet dad is even willing to help me get a little business going. We will see what happens! Well I guess I should try and get some sleep! Nite Nite!!!

Decisions...decisions...

So I am stuck trying to figure out what I want to do with my life at this point. Do I want to do photography? yes...do I want to make jewelery? yes....do I want to scrapbook? yes...do I want to make little girl tutu's? yes... Well I can't do it all! that's where I am at right now. Trying to figure out what I want to really do that will be enjoyable yet be worth the time and money I put into it. I really need to sit down and do the whole pro's and con's list. My goal is to become successful and great at what I do within a couple of years. Is that possible? I sure hope so...so wish me LUCK!!!

Whats been going on....

So I have to play catch up! I have been so busy lately with pictures, birthday, watching my niece and nephew, 4th of July, and now currently looking for a way to earn extra money.
So I am a little obsessed with pictures and get and take a ton of pictures (especially now that I have a son). I have had 4 professional pictures done within the past year and soon to have another session that I won! (so excited) But we had Jaxon's 1 year pictures done by KB Photography, she is a great photographer. Take a look at a few of my favorite pics.

Jaxon's birthday was so fun and a lot of work. I guess I just wanted it to be really special for him (even though he didnt really know what was going on) and to remember that day with pictures. I had a monkey themed birthday for him with a back yard bbq (in 109 degrees! yikes...so HOT!!!) we had just close family attend. It was so fun to see his reaction when opening his gifts and eating his cake. He was so cute, it made me realize that I for sure want more kids!

We kept the party going all the way to the 4th of July! We took the kids to the park where they had booths and rides, but it was so hot and muggy that we left after a couple of hours. Later that night we had a family bbq and then went to see the big fireworks. It was so exciting to see Jaxon's reactions, he cried and the little fireworks at home but was totally fine with the big ones! such a silly boy he is. Here is a few of our fun pictures that day.

The week is finally slowing down a little bit, I mean I am still going a little crazy now that I have 2 more kids added to the mix, but it has been so much fun. My niece and nephew live in Texas and are visiting for a while. Annabelle is 4 and Ethan is 2 it has been nice for Jaxon to have some kids to play with and entertain him for a while. But it is sure hard when you are used to watching 1 and then adding 2 more makes it CRAZY!!! lol be I sure do love those kiddos. Here are a few pics I took of them.

So my niece and nephew will leave on Saturday and then its back to life as I know it! I need to really start buckling down and making some goals. I have so many things I would like to accomplish soon and feel a little overwhelmed! I want to start doing photography and I also would like to make some jewelry to sell. It's so hard to start up a business because it costs money which I don't have right now. So I may be getting a part time job or watching a few kids here and there to earn some money (if anyone is looking for a at home day care, let me know). So that's that, I hope to get a little business up and going with my mom soon and I would like to start a blog and a facebook page. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know, I could use the advice!

P.S. Let me know what you think about the pictures I posted. Most of them were practice shots, as I am trying to get good at taking pictures!
