Randomness

This week it turned off so cold! I was not prepared for the cold already and I live in Southern Utah, so it's not that cold here compared to other places.
So I broke out my winter wear and I am a happy girl. I just love to layer and wear my warm fluffy slippers and hoodies. My favorite thing to do is to curl up on the couch with my heating blanket with some hot chocolate and just watch a movie. I have not done that in a long time and it is so relaxing!

So Jaxon is 16 months old and still has a binki and I mean this kid is attached to this thing. I will take it off to feed him and after he eats he screams for this thing. I have no idea how to break him of this and I don't want a kid that is screaming all the time. Any suggestions mammas?

So this year we are having Thanksgiving at my grandmothers house and she has always made Thanksgiving dinner and will not let anyone help her. But this year me and my husband offered to make the turkey and she AGREED! it's amazing she never let's anyone cook anything (she is from the south and likes to do things the old fashioned way). So me and my husband only agreed to this because last week we made the best turkey breast ever. I never knew that turkey could taste so good. The best part is it was a made up recipe, you know the kind where you add a little bit of this and a little bit of that. So hopefully we can recreate the amazingness again...wish us luck!

I am so excited because I will be doing my first groopdealz feature November 27th!!! I am going to be selling the Joy the Deer necklace. I am nervous because I am really hoping to sell a bunch, so we will see how it goes.

Jax has finally mastered eating with a fork, I think he would have done it a long time ago. But I am such a neat freak and I just don't want a huge mess, and I know that's what would happen if I let him feed himself. But I have let him do it because I know he needs to learn and I need to learn how to deal with messes! But he is so cute when he does it, it's like a huge accomplishment each time he eats!

So the last thing on my randomness is some giveaways going on with my shop.

I have one that is ending TONIGHT! I know sorry for the short notice. But I am giving away that cute deer necklace over at Mommas like me.

I have another one that just went up today, it's a $20 shop credit with The Hollie Rouge

I have a giveaway going on with my shop FB page. I am trying to get to 100 followers and when I do I am giving away a custom headband. So if you could go over to my page and like it and also enter to win!

Thanks so much you AWESOME readers!

K I, like Jaxon, LOVED my passy! I had them till I was like 3. I would carry THREE around. Two in my mouth and rub one on my nose. WOW. I was obsessed!

So, I'm not a momma, but my sister did just break my niece of the binki. She kind of just took a few days of disaster cold turkey. She sat down with her, and helped her "write" a letter saying goodbye to her binki and saying she was giving it to the babies that needed it. Then they sealed them in an envelope and together put them in mailbox. Good luck!

I am already ready for summer weather again and it's so cold here:-(
I have no suggestions with kids I'm sorry. All I can say is he is cute and I would let him scream and turn on music not to hear him. Is that inhumane? I say that after all the times I babysat my aunts kids.
I wish you luck selling those necklaces. They are cute and I believe you will do just fine!!!!
Cheers,
Bre

I still love the "Joy" deer necklace! I'm so excited that you are doing Groopdealz. My cousin works for them, so I am doing a deal on the 22nd :) I might have to get one of your necklaces for my sister-in-law. Her name is Joy!

As for the binky, I don't know...my kids never really liked them. I have lot of friends who let their kids mail the binky to the "binky fairy" and the binky fairy mails back a present. So it's a trade LOL.

maybe give him a little more time with it. my best friend just broke her son of his last night at 22 and a half months. she took it from him at night time and he didn't even cry. maybe not the typical response, but there's still hope! he's sooo cute!
